We don't censor our children very much, but sex is really not a topic I can dance around with 3 year olds. So when there is a sex, or just racy scene, we do the whole, "cover your eyes..."
Tonight we had a babysitter, tia Lizzy. Well, Charlie had taken a late nap, so when we got home she was wide awake while Lucy was resting so peacefully. I decided to take Charlie with me to drop off Lizzy back home. During the drive, Lizzy proceeded to tell me that there was an actor on TV without his shirt and that Charlie made her cove her eyes.
Charlie: "Cover your eyes Lizzy"
Lizzy: "why? I'm a big girl"
Charlie: "oh, Okay"
Then I ask
Mom: "Charlie, you saw a naked man on TV?"
Charlie: "uh-hu" (in a quite, I think I'm in trouble voice)
Mom: "why, you know better, you are supposed to cover you eyes"
Charlie: "mom, Lizzy tricked me"
Ah, according to Charlie she was tricked into checking out the topless man on TV, I think not, but just proves that a 3 year old is never wrong or at fault.....
